On vacation in Iceland 2011, I payed attention to knitting, of course.
This baker in the Gamla Bakarid in Isafjordur, Westfjords, was keeping us company for breakfast. I have seen him there for a few years but I finally took a picture of him.
With a lot of creativity and attention to detail, someone made this really cute fellow.

Dieser Bäcker in der Gamla Bakarid in Isafjördur, Westfjorde, hat uns beim Frühstück Gesellschaft geleistet. I habe ihn schon in den letzten Jahren dort gesehen, aber jetzt habe ich endlich mal Bilder von ihm gemacht. Jemand hat hier mit viel Geschick und Liebe zum Details eine wirklich süße Figur gestrickt!
